Feel heard.
Begin with what brings you in, what feels hard, and what you hope might change. Early conversations help you and your therapist explore whether the relationship feels like a good fit.
You don’t have to have it all figured out to begin. Therapy can be a place to understand yourself, navigate change, and find a way forward that feels like yours.

Transcenshift · Previously known as The Key Center
Licensed Professional Counselor · Educator · Approved Clinical Supervisor
My work centers on helping people feel heard, understand what they are carrying, and explore the changes they want to make.
With over 20 years of experience, I provide telehealth services and am licensed in Florida, Virginia, and Washington, DC. My background spans direct clinical care, supervising developing clinicians, and counselor education. Transcenshift brings that experience into a broader conversation about emotional wellness and growth.
Here, we make room for your story, your pace, and your goals.
Maybe life looks fine from the outside, but feels different on the inside. Maybe you are navigating a transition, carrying a loss, or noticing patterns you want to understand.
Therapy offers space to explore what matters to you and what you need next.
Healing is personal. These are possible parts of the process, not a timeline or a promise of how you should feel.
Begin with what brings you in, what feels hard, and what you hope might change. Early conversations help you and your therapist explore whether the relationship feels like a good fit.
Explore connections between your experiences, emotions, and responses. Together, identify goals and practice approaches that fit your needs and daily life.
Bring new understanding into your relationships and choices. Revisit what is helping, adapt when something isn’t, and recognize the changes that matter to you.
You can start with “I’m not sure where to begin.” You don’t need a prepared story. Your therapist can help you find a starting point and talk about what feels comfortable to share.
There is no universal timeline. Your needs, goals, circumstances, and preferences shape the process. Discuss progress and expectations with your therapist as you go.
